Baby, Youre A Star!

A One-Day Workshop for Dogs Destined for the Spotlight

Your dog has the looks. The personality. The undeniable star quality.

Now it’s time to help the rest of the world see it.

Baby, You’re a Star is a one-day workshop designed to show you what it really takes to help your dog get noticed on social media, land professional opportunities, and prepare for their next big role.

You’ll step into the role of your dog’s own Tail-ent Manager—learning how to capture their best angles, build camera-ready skills, handle the paperwork that makes it official, and confidently pursue opportunities in the entertainment industry.

This isn’t just a cute photo session. It’s a practical, hands-on introduction to the business, photography, and training behind a camera-ready dog.

WHAT YOU AND YOUR DOG WILL LEARN

Baby, You’re a Star is divided into three parts, each covering a different piece of helping your dog stand out.

PART ONE: BECOME THE TAIL-ENT MANAGER

Behind every successful canine star is a person who knows how to manage the business.

You’ll learn what it takes to pursue professional opportunities with your dog, including the paperwork, preparation, expectations, and practical details that help turn star potential into something official.

You’ll also leave with a connection to a talent scout, giving you a real next step when you’re ready to help your dog get discovered.

PART TWO: GETTING THE SHOT

Your dog doesn’t need to understand their best angle. That’s your job.

In this photography-focused section, you’ll learn how to capture the expressions, poses, movement, and personality that make your dog stand out on camera.

With guidance from Rita, you’ll explore how to work with your dog in front of the camera, recognize their strongest looks, and create content that feels polished without losing what makes your dog uniquely them.

Whether you’re building a social media presence, creating submission photos, or simply trying to get better pictures of your dog, you’ll leave with practical skills you can use immediately.

PART THREE: TRICKS THAT BOOK

Being adorable gets attention. Being trained gets the job.

This hands-on training portion focuses on three sets of camera-ready skills designed to help your dog get noticed by followers, talent scouts, and maybe even their next movie director.

With guidance from Mo and Guen, you’ll learn how to build reliable behaviors while keeping your dog confident, engaged, and excited to work with you.

The goal isn’t to create a perfectly rehearsed robot. It’s to develop a dog who can perform, adapt, and let their personality shine when the camera starts rolling.

FAQs

DO I NEED TO BRING A DOG?

Only Working Dog and All-Star participants bring a dog.

Observers attend in person without a participating dog, and Virtual Access participants can learn from anywhere.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN AN OBSERVER AND A WORKING DOG TEAM?

Observers are in the room for the full educational experience, demonstrations, and discussion, but they do not participate with a dog.

Working Dog teams bring their dogs and participate in the hands-on training portions of the workshop.

DOES MY DOG NEED PREVIOUS TRAINING?

Your dog should be comfortable working around people and other dogs in a structured group environment.

Specific participation requirements and preparation instructions will be provided after registration. Please reach out before booking if you are unsure whether the working-dog option is appropriate for your dog.

IS THIS WORKSHOP ONLY FOR PEOPLE WHO WANT THEIR DOG IN MOVIES?

Not at all.

The photography, content, training, and business skills are also useful for dog-focused social media accounts, brand work, advertising, modeling, and anyone who simply wants to create better content with their dog.

WILL THIS GUARANTEE THAT MY DOG GETS PROFESSIONAL WORK?

No workshop can guarantee bookings or representation.

You will leave with a clearer understanding of the industry, practical skills to continue developing, and a connection to a talent scout so you know where to go next.

WHAT WILL I NEED TO BRING?

Working Dog and All-Star participants will receive a welcome email with treat recommendations, leash and equipment guidance, vaccination requirements, and everything needed for the hands-on portion.

Observers only need to bring something for taking notes.

WHAT DOES THE ALL-STAR PACKAGE INCLUDE?

The All-Star Package includes the complete Working Dog workshop experience plus private coaching focused on your dog’s skills, strengths, and next steps.

HOW LONG WILL I HAVE ACCESS TO THE VIRTUAL MATERIALS?

Virtual Library access is up to a year after purchase

WHAT IS THE REFUND POLICY?

Because space is limited and preparation begins before the workshop, please review the registration and cancellation terms carefully before booking. Contact us before registering if you have questions about which option is right for you.
